Dress Code

A Dress Code is operated both on the Golf Course and in the Clubhouse for members and visitors. Any members or visitors not adhering to our dress code, as set out below, will be refused access to the Course.

On the Course

Conventional golf wear, worn in the accepted manner, is required at all times. Shorts must be tailored and be of at least mid-thigh length, and worn with predominately white sports socks.

Blue denim jeans/trousers, track suits/shell suits, trainers, football type shirts/shorts or cycle/running shorts, collarless t-shirts, beach shorts, street shoes & socks are not permitted.

In The Clubhouse

Visitors and Members alike are always welcome at our clubhouse. Here you will find a range of hot and cold food provided by our popular Steward, Bernie Forbes. His roasts on match days and weekend club competitions are well regarded and much appreciated by visitors from other clubs.

There is also a well-stocked bar providing welcome refreshments after a round of golf where players can discuss the merits of their game in comfortable and pleasant surroundings.

Smart casual clothing and footwear must be worn at all times, the wearing of hats/visors is prohibited. Golf shoes are only permitted in the Spike Bar and Changing Room areas.

Whilst denim clothing, t-shirts and trainers may now be worn following golf and during daytime hours, the Committee requests that they are not worn for Presentation or Social occasions unless specified.  The emphasis remains on ‘SMART CASUAL’.

(The use of mobile phones or vapor e-cigarettes is not permitted in the Clubhouse)
